“Infantry Remembers Nipsey Hussle”
Child Of Los Angeles. A Product Of The Environment. Entrepreneur, Artist, Father, You Were The Big Brother They Didn’t Want Us To Have. Thank You Nip For Being Nothing Short Of An Icon. Aside From The Music, Which Will Live On Forever, You Installed A Renewed Mindset In All Of Us. It Was Never About Selling Out Or Going Hollywood. Instead, It Was About Learning The Game And Sharing That Knowledge With The People Around You. Wake, Hustle, Grind, Repeat. Exercising Discipline And Remaining Dedicated To Your Craft And Your Loved Ones. Reinvesting In The Land We Come From, Cause How Can We Love Ourselves If We Don’t Love Our Community? You Taught Us How To Enrich And Nurture Our Circles And To Have Pride In That. There’s No Shame In Lending A Hand To The Ones Who Hold You Down. Be Present. You Protected Our Image And Represented All Of Us Unapologetically And Embodied A Rare Spirit Of Realness. You Created Channels Of Opportunities For Our Children To Be The World Leaders They Didn’t Know They Were Capable Of Becoming. Collaborating With The Authorities To Discuss Methods In Order To Put An End To The Bloodshed That Has Kept Our House Divided For Far Too Long. You Made Sacrifices In Order To Create Generational Wealth For Our People. You Flipped Their Script And Created Your Own Narrative, One That Better Suits All Of Us. You Showed The World That The Boxes They Previously Placed Us In For Generations No Longer Exist. More Than Anything, We Thank You For Challenging Us To Be Better Men, Women, Fathers, Mother, Sons, Daughters, Children Of God. Tragically Taken From Us Too Soon, Yet We Know Without A Doubt You Accomplished Your Purpose In Your 33 Years Here On Earth. Disruption Has Never Been So Graceful. We Applaud You Nip, For A Life Well-Lived And Time Well-Spent.
Your Spirit Lives On Through Us Each Day. Thanks For Your Guidance, Your Strength, And Your Light. We Will Celebrate Your Legacy Till Our Last Days. From All Of Us At Infantry, We Miss You. Rest In Power King.
The Marathon Continues.
